My Mum's Garage sale

On the 27th of November my mum did a garage sale and it was for my grandfather he died last year at Christmas day, when I heard about that I was crying and plus my mum heard it and she was crying as well but let's get to my mum's garage sale well before we did the garage sale we had to set up everything and put things in it's place and plus we had to label heaps and heaps of stuff it toke us and hour but the my mum let friends come over then it went a bit quicker then the next day came and the garage sale started and 9.00 to 2.00 well then I wasn't there I was at my grandmothers house and staying there until the next day and my mum got 250.00 and I was happy.

Christmas cooking with Mrs Dysart

At school we did Pins well that means you get to pick something from a paper and well I picked Christmas cooking, Christmas cooking is cooking like ginger bread men cakes and everything else. Before we  did Christmas cooking we had to pick three things from a paper and it had things on it that we can do then the next day came then we did Pins our Deputy principal Mr Giles told everyone which one they are in and go to a adult that they have to go to then we begin to go to where we have to go and we went to the staff room the teachers room and we started doing everything we did ginger bread men it was fun but after lunch we ate the ginger bread men and it was very very yum.

Baked Ice Cream

 Baked Ice Cream I've never heard of that WOW!! it must goner taste nice well hope I like it, it looks weird but anyway I'm still going to eat it. Now lets get in to action and start how we made it first thing we heated well the teacher did it up to 260c then we went back to class and waited for the oven mean while that did that we were doing a Marang that means egg white and sugar that toke a very long time to do that it toke as long as lunch time then it finished and we were glad that it did then we went straight to the staff room and got it ready and put it in the oven then it came out in five minutes then we dug in and it taste so nice that I wanted some more.

My reading level

The other day I went and did a reading test with Miss Davies and I had to read three stories and they were Tornadoes, Glow worms and something else.
 I red those stories for a long time one story each lasted 10 minutes then it came to an end and she told me what reading level I am on and I was in purple and that was the lowest group now I am in the second highest group and I was excited when Miss Davies said that and I had to say it to other teachers and that was my reading level and that was my goal of the year anyway so I was still excited for along time.

Kiwiana art

In Room 17 we did something kiwi, we had to do things that belong in New Zealand like Hokey pokey thats my favorite, kiwis and everything else that I can't list cause it's a lot. Next Miss Davies explain what kiwiana means and she said that is also means things that belong in NZ then we began coloring stuff I drew the New Zealand flag then Miss Davies told us to die not actually die color die but for my die one I did a kiwi that was our good copy then we hang them up on the wall to show everyone in our class. Once we did that we had to take pictures of our work and see if it looked good and thats how we did our art.

ATHLETICS

ATHLETICS COOL!! My favorite activities in athletics is high jump,sprints and also long jump but usually my least favorite is shot put or discus oh! wait I forgot that I also like relays for a lot of times cause you run a lot and it's fun. On high jump we have to jump over the stick thing that is really hard on your back on the highest one I couldn't jump over it cause it was hard and sore but then when we were going to do sprints I was excited I'm usually last but it's fun and I am still racing then long jump I was also excited with that to cause I usually make it at the end on the other side of the sandpit but then when we get to discus and shot put I am not excited, out of discus and shot put I like shot put better then discus so yea that is my story for athletics.

Kapa haka

On Thursday 11th of october we did a Kapa Haka performance for the school and there parents, what we had to get is black eye liner,black hair tie and also black lipstick but the best thing that we did was that we did the performance before the perform we did a lot of practicing we didn't have any time to be in class the only free time that we had was at morning tea and lunch time and that when I was hanging out with my friends then the bells rang then we had to continue practicing it was hard then school finished we had to come back at 5.00 in the afternoon and get ready for the perform. The assembly started there were too groups in Kapa haka the first group went then glee, band and all those people came then it was our turn I was getting nervous then we got on in our line we had to do three songs and the boys did a haka then we finish an that was it for the assembly.
